Frequently Asked Questions
Can I print directly onto bare aluminum?
Dye sublimation needs a receptive coating. Bare aluminum is a different substrate and should not be specified as sublimation-ready.
Will white areas stay white on brushed silver?
Unprinted areas show the metallic base. Select white-coated stock if the design needs an opaque white background.
What press settings should I use?
Use the recipe supplied with the approved coating. Check temperature, dwell time and pressure on the production press before approving the transfer.
